Dr. Sumaeya Alkatheeri

Dr. Sumaeya brings nearly two decades of medical experience, predominantly in pediatrics. She served as a Consultant General Pediatrics at Al Bahia Clinic, Seha AHS, Abu Dhabi, from June 2020 to March 2023, and led the clinic at Al Mushrif Children Specialty Clinic between February 2020 and May 2022. Additionally, she supervised residents at Al Mafraq Hospital and Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC). Her extensive experience includes serving in various pediatric roles at Zayed Military Hospital, Shaikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMC), and Burnley General Hospital, UK.

• General pediatric care, including routine check-ups and vaccinations
• Diagnosis and management of acute and chronic illnesses in children
• Growth and development monitoring
• Neonatal care and follow-up for premature infants

Dr. Sumaeya is certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Basic Life Support (BLS), receiving her training from the Ambulatory Healthcare Service Life Support Center.
